The Final Treasure in Heaven Sunday

Dear St. Andrew’s Family,

We have a lot of reasons to be cheerful here at St. Andrew’s. Father Andrew and I have talked about just a few of those reasons in our Treasure in Heaven sermons the past two weeks. It has been amazing to be able to see the smiles, tears, and love on each of your faces as we have talked about keeping people warm through the knitting of hats and scarves, the giving of technology to our partner school in Belize, and the spiritual growth our children and youth have experienced. Like me, I am sure you are excited to hear more about our treasure in heaven this Sunday. These stories are a true testament to God responding to our cheerful giving.

Just a reminder that our Intention of Giving cards are being gathered this Sunday at both services. There will be a special time during each service for you to come up and drop your card into our treasure chest. Please prayerfully and faithfully fill out your card and bring it to church with you. You can also submit your intention of giving on the website by clicking this link.

Speaking of treasure in heaven, our brothers and sisters at Hidden Springs have invited us to a Spooky Halloween Village in their courtyard this Saturday, October 29th. This event is for families with children, grandchildren, and our neighbors with children. We will meet here in the church parking lot at 5:00 p.m. and walk over to Hidden Springs. So come dressed up in your Halloween costumes and join us for what is sure to be a howling good time.

Cheerfully,
Deacon Logan
