St. Andrew’s in Belize
Since 2010, St. Andrew’s has been working with our brothers and sisters in the Anglican Church in Belize. We currently partner with Christ the King Parish in Dangriga Town, which is in the Sand Creek District of Belize. The Parish of Christ the King consists of four churches: Christ the King Parish Church in Dangriga Town, and the three mission churches of St. Matthew’s, St. Monica’s and St. Jerome’s. The parish also ministers to two Anglican schools: St. Matthew’s Anglican School and Christ the King Anglican School.
Throughout the year we financially provide for needed facilities improvements and technology upgrades at the schools and churches, and every eighteen months St. Andrew’s sends a mission team to Belize to work on the ground with the members of the parish and students at the schools.
You can learn more about the fruit of our partnership in the video below, provided by Mother Barbara, the priest who leads the parish of Christ the King.

Through the partnership and hard work of the people of St. Andrew’s, and the hard work and partnership of the people of the parish Christ the King , we have been able to do so much, not just for infrastructure, but for the well-being of the people of the church and the community.

It’s always good to see the little miracles that God performs for us when we’re down there, because there are all these challenges we find that we didn’t know we were going to face when we get there, but he always seems to take us in the palm of his hand.

Supporting Belize: Dinner and Silent Auction
Each August, our Belize Mission Team members put on a dinner and silent auction at St. Andrew’s. All the proceeds from this festive night of dinner, fellowship, and fundraising go directly to mission work in Belize (i.e. they do not support the travel costs of the mission trip participants).
