Hands&Feet Outreach

Our Ministries

Supporting and Caring for Others

We organize our Hands&Feet outreach ministry around partnerships with organizations in our community. Each year St. Andrew’s members spend thousands of hours volunteering, organizing drives, mentoring students, and supporting our community partners. By partnering with these great organizations, we multiply the work we can do in the world.

C.L.I.M.B. is an after school program organized by our Hands and Feet ministry. It provides FREE access to STEM enrichment, creative arts, games, character building, healthy snacks, and mentoring to children and youth living with limited resources at the Merritt apartment complex.

We meet each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 – 5:00 during the MISD school year.

Burks Elementary

Burks Elementary is a McKinney ISD Title 1 school in east McKinney and St. Andrew’s partner school. St. Andrew’s work includes volunteering as student mentors, assisting families with daily needs along, providing Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas gifts, and supporting teachers. Our biggest event is the Angel Tree where we help over 70 children each year have a magical Christmas.

Baggie Brigade

The Baggie Brigade supports the McKinney Little Free Pantry, a local nonprofit that provides neighbors with nonperishable food, toiletries, and other basic necessities through publicly accessible pantries throughout McKinney. Twice a month, volunteers gather to repackage items for distribution. Baggie Brigade supports our community while offering a wonderful opportunity for fellowship.

Lunch Bunch at the Samaritan Inn

We have two groups that meet at the Samaritan Inn, one, every Thursday from 1 - 3 who help make sandwiches and prep lunch sacks for the residents of the Inn. The other group meets one Saturday each month to serve lunch to all the residents of the Inn.

Believe! Race

This 20 year community fund raiser to support young people through transformative educational and leadership programs, building skills to shape tomorrow's world. In 2026, proceeds to benefit the C.L.I.M.B. after-school program! Always on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. You can participate as a volunteer or as a racer. Believe! has become a tradition for many St Andrew’s Families!
