Supergroups are Going to be Super!
Dear Friends,
Maybe you’re like me and you’ve been meaning to sign up for Supergroups but just haven’t quite gotten there yet. Let’s fix it together! Ready. 1, 2, 3…click:
Sign up for Supergroups!
If you’re still on the fence though, let me try and persuade you. Supergroups are short-term small groups (8-10 people) that gather four times over the spring for casual meals and fellowship. For each session, we offer a few “jumping-off” questions to kick-start meaningful spiritual discussion and build relationships.
Building relationships that lead to Christ is how we grow as the body of Christ. And by “grow,” I don’t primarily mean “get more people” — I mean grow in our love for God, increase our service to the world, find (or deepen) peaceful joy in our lives.
Don’t take my word for it. Well, do, actually. 😉 But also take your brothers’ and sisters’ words for it. Here’s what people who participated in the fall have said:
“Supergroups gave us all an opportunity to get to know about their lives, faith, family, enjoy each other’s company, and a great meal. One of the best things we have been involved with at St. Andrews.”
“There’s a special closeness or bond that forms when we gather together like this.”
“Since we were new to St. Andrews, the Supergroup experience helped us feel like family. We treasure those shared moments of heart-to-heart Christian fellowship.”
I know the pandemic is really bad right now, but Supergroups don’t even begin meeting until mid-February. By the time we’re meeting, we’ll be on the backside of this peak.
Also, Supergroups are for adults only, but the church will help provide childcare for groups with families who need it. We really want to make this as accessible as possible to everyone!
In Christ,
Fr. Andrew
