Kicking Off the Fall
Dear Friends,
Being up at St. Andrew’s this week has been such a joy. We’ve gotten to welcome our Bible studies back, our Bishop was here teaching in person, and our C.L.I.M.B. program has gotten off to a great start. There’s so much love and joy in the fullness of our life together, and I am grateful to have reached that time in our year when everything is happening again.
Just as our weekdays have gotten fuller after Labor Day, our Sunday mornings will too. Beginning this Sunday, September 10, we will have 6 classes (six!) between the 9 am and 11 am services, plus the nursery will be open and our choir will be rehearsing. I hope you’ll read more about all of the various Sunday opportunities below in this email, but I'm particularly excited for the various youth studies.
Of course we have our 8 am service available each week too. This service is much smaller, but as one attendee described it with unexpected satisfaction, “It feels so holy!”
God has given us many a great gifts at St. Andrew’s, particularly the gift of one another. Join us as we kick off the fall — find a group to study and pray with, join a Hands & Feet ministry, or commit to make worship an ‘every week’ priority. God is at work healing, teaching, consoling, encouraging and guiding the people of this place. Come and be a part!
In Christ,
Fr. Andrew
