Be Christ’s Hands&Feet Next Week

Dear Friends,

As I write this note today my heart is overflowing with gratitude, joy, and pride! Last week, after a year of planning St Andrew’s along with St Gabriel’s, The Parks Church and One Heart McKinney launched the C.L.I.M.B. after school program at the Merritt Mcgowan Manner apartment complex!!! This has truly been a labor of love for all who have volunteered hours to prep materials, offered donations to purchase supplies and have now taken on a role as a consistent volunteer!

Our first day started with 15 children, the second grew to 28 and by the third we had 33! This is a much-needed program and appreciated by all the children and their families. There were many challenges along the way, but the leadership team did an excellent job of staying focused and true to our calling. I am so impressed by this group of volunteers and their commitment to these children! The work we do here will most definitely have a positive impact on our community!
