February Hands&Feet Update
Hi Friends,
I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy! January brought challenges with the Omicron uptick, but I'm happy to say we still found ways to help our community partners and build relationships that lead to Christ.
As we go forward, there are many ways that you can be involved depending on your level of comfort and interest:
Our Feeding Friends and Family food distribution, held the 3rd Wednesday of each month, is outdoors and social distancing guidelines are followed.
The Baggie Brigade group meets in Michie Hall where we can stay socially distanced (masks are optional).
During the month of February, we are having a hygiene products drive, so that we can make bags to distribute to the homeless and vulnerable. Donations can be dropped off at the church, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon.
On April 9th, we will have a serve day at Shiloh Place to help get their yard ready for spring. A great outdoor activity for the whole family!
These are just a few of the ways we're being Christ's Hands&Feet this time of year. As always, I also am open to any ideas you may have. Just give me a call or stop in to chat!
Peace,
Lisa Ostrowski
