Appreciate What God Has Given
St. Andrew’s Family,
Growing up I loved this time of the year. There were several years that we took long weekend trips to the mountains in North Carolina to stay in a cabin. My parents would take us on fun excursions like kayaking, hiking, and fishing. We would take long car rides through the mountains to see the changing of the leaves sometimes stopping at an overlook to breath in that cool mountain air. There are other great things fall brings like pumpkin spiced lattes, football, BASKETBALL, and riding with the windows down.
I always feel inspired. Inspired to stop and look around paying attention to the work God is doing around me. The work God is doing around us. We truly are fortunate to be loved by a God that calls out to us in these seasons to stop and appreciate all he has given us.
So, hip hip hooray for fall weather. I am so excited for cooler mornings, cooler evenings, and the brilliant colors the leaves are about to turn. It has been a long hot summer! Speaking of fall fun, we have our Fall Festival coming up October 16th. After each service on Sunday the 16th each ministry of the church will have a booth with fun games for everyone to play, along with information about what’s going on with said ministry. We hope you will plan on enjoying this fun event with us.
Be Blessed,
Deacon Logan
