Youth Sunday on Sunday

Dear Friends,

It's already May! Aaaahhhhh!

I was telling someone this week that May is worse than December. YMMV (your mileage may vary) of course, but May suffers from an aggressive combination of the school year ending, STAAR testing, sports seasons wrapping up, Eastertide moving into Pentecost, Mothers' Day, Memorial Day, and all the "one last time before summer" groups and meetings. Whew!

A lot of that busy-ness revolves around our young people, which is why Youth Sunday is also in May. It's this Sunday, in fact, at the 9 am service. This is a chance for the next generation of Christian leaders to take up the all the work of making worship happen and for us as a congregation to support and encourage them.

We'll also be celebrating and praying for our graduates at both services, so join us for a great Sunday and help encourage and thank our youth.

In Christ,
Fr. Andrew

PS: Between the services on Sunday we're having a Newcomers Brunch -- if you're new or still feel new around here, please join us in Michie Hall!
