You’re Invited to Choir
Hello everyone!
As the newest member of the staff here at St. Andrew’s, this is my first “blurb” for The Net. Let me first use this as an opportunity to express my appreciation for being here. In the almost four months that I’ve been on board, I have enjoyed working with a dedicated professional staff and have felt their support. I feel supported by the various people who have introduced themselves to me. Thank you! Thank you to the members of the Praise Band, the Adult Choir and the Children’s Choir for your beautiful music! Thank you for a congregation that really sings. That is greatly appreciated!
Having said all that, I want you (or your kids) to consider joining the choir. Choir rehearsals resume in August.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Rehearses Wednesdays from 4 - 5 pm, and the first rehearsal is Wednesday, August 10. In addition to singing, the Children’s Choir will learn the basics of music and piano.
ADULT CHOIR
Rehearses Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8 PM, and the first rehearsal is Tuesday, August 23.
The adults sing weekly at the 11 am service, and the children are scheduled to sing at the 9 am service on September 11, October 16, November 6, and the Family Christmas Eve Service on December 24.
Everyone is welcome! Even if you may not be able to sing at every scheduled service or make every rehearsal, that is completely okay! Please contact me if you have any questions.
