Your Cool Weather Prayers Have Been Answered

St. Andrew's Family,

Cooler weather is finally here! I don't know about you, but the past few months have been rough with all the heat. I suppose I just needed to wait until the middle of October for my prayers of cooler weather to be answered. I truly believe the grace of God is found between 60 and 70 degrees. This is where I find some of my true happiness.

Another place I find great happiness is here at St. Andrew's. Each of you show the grace of God in a unique way, inspiring me to show up each day to see how that grace will work out in the world. This is what makes St. Andrew's such a special place. God takes each of us and forms the body of Christ into a real piece of the kingdom right here in McKinney, Texas.

This Sunday kicks off our stewardship campaign for 2024. Our theme this year is "Growing in Grace," a theme that is perfect for our life together right here, right now. As we move through the next three weeks, exploring how God's grace has been so richly and freely poured out on us, my prayer is that you will look for ways to grow in grace.

"Growing in Grace" can and will manifest itself in multiple ways. We can experience growth here at St. Andrew's through new individuals and families that join us through the grace of God. "Growing in Grace" can be experienced through our own spiritual growth. We can also grow in grace through our service to each other and our community.

Our hope is that you will join us in daily prayer through October 29th. Pray for the growth of St. Andrew's, pray for your own spiritual growth, and pray about your intention of giving for the new year. It is through our giving that we open ourselves up fully to the grace of God and all he wants for the body of Christ here at St. Andrew's.
