VBS is Full of Heroes

Dear Friends,

We have a been having a wonderful time up here at Vacation Bible School this week. Our church has been full of little Heroes learning Bible stories about Shiphrah, Puah, Jethro, and the Magi (bonus points for any of you who know who Shiphrah, Puah and Jethro are without looking!)

There’s also some “Professor Silvester” character whom the kids is convinced looks a lot like me. 🤷‍♂️

Yesterday our “Hero Hotline Tip” for the day at VBS was, “Heroes are called to work together,” and our volunteers (ranging in age from 12-84) have definitely lived into that this week! They are the true heroes.

At the 9:00 am service on Sunday we will have our Heroes sing some of the music from VBS during the service, so even if you haven’t been able to be a part of the fun this week, you can still get a taste of it on Sunday.

In Christ,
Fr. Andrew

PS: Volunteers and Heroes, be sure to wear your t-shirts to church on Sunday.
