Picnic & Fireworks Tomorrow Night!
Dear Friends,
As we head into the fourth of July, we have a lot going on up here at St. Andrew’s.
Thursday, July 4th, is our great Independence Day picnic and fireworks watching party, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending when the fireworks are over (around 10:00 pm). The church will provide bratwurst, burgers, buns, baked beans, macaroni salad, condiments, and paper goods. Everyone is invited to bring burger/bratwurst fixings or a side dish to share. And don’t forget drinks for you and your family to enjoy. Other good things to bring: lawn chairs, sunscreen, flashlights, and towels for the kids. Kids should wear bathing suits to take advantage of the huge, two-story blow-up waterslide. We’ll also have a bounce house for our younger kids and lots of lawn games. Neighbors and friends are welcome!
If you’re out-of-town, safe travels and lots of fun! If you’re here, come be a part of this wonderful community building event as we give thanks for the wonderful country in which we are blessed to live.
Sunday, July 7th, we are excited to news about our Twelve Baskets resale store. Many of you have been a part of this ministry through donations of clothing, our pop-up sales, sorting clothes, hanging clothes, and through prayer. We will be holding an informational meeting between services this Sunday, starting at 10:15 am, in order to share with you exciting news about how this ministry is growing, our next steps, and opportunities for you to get involved.
Hope to see you all tomorrow!
Peace and Grace,
Fr. Logan
