Looking Ahead to 2023

Dear Friends,

I am glad to report that my office is almost put back together from the Christmas weekend. The crescendo of activity that culminates around Christmas Eve (and Christmas Day this year) is at times dizzying. And yet, there was a sweetness and excitement to the weekend that I will cherish, and I hope you feel the same. There is much to be thankful for in being a part of this parish.

Looking ahead, the new year approaches, and with it comes exciting new activities. We’ll be celebrating Epiphany with a worship service, Hands&Feet is moving their food distributions to Saturday Morning, and not too long after that our Women’s Retreat will gather in February right here at St. Andrew’s. And this isn’t even all of it!

As a reminder, worship this Sunday, New Year’s Day, is a single service at 10 am. The Praise Band will be leading the music, and the service will also be online for those of you who are traveling over the holiday weekend. Even if you have a late night (we celebrate New Year at 9 pm in our house), I hope to see you at church.

It’s my prayer that in 2023 we find ourselves with more opportunities to touch lives in our community, strengthen our relationships with one another, and grow more holy through our pursuit of Christ. Will you pray that with me too?

Grace and peace,
Tim Jenkins
