Hands&Feet May Update

Hi Friends,

I have wonderful news to share: St. Andrew's was recognized by The Samaritan Inn as "Outstanding Group Volunteers" for 2021!!!

Our consistent commitment to this valuable community partner is appreciated beyond words or awards, Thank you to all—the work you do is recognized and appreciated!!

Editor's Note: Lisa is too humble to admit it, but as you can see in the photo she also individually received the "Outstanding Group Liaison Volunteer" award as well. What a gift Lisa's ministry to us is!

April was extremely busy with volunteer support at Shiloh Place, FFF Food Distribution, Burks Elementary, and our Baggie Brigade repackaged a truck full of dog food, diapers, and feminine products as well—I can't believe we accomplished all of this together. And then there are LEGOS! Sooooo many LEGOS! Nice work friends!

Hands&Feet activities will wind down a bit for June and July, however we will continue the food distribution along with a new program that will start to build relationships with our neighbors in the apartment complexes near church. More on that to come in the next few weeks!

Also in July we'll hold a school supply drive for Burks Elementary School. Heading into the summer months I hope you all take time to relax and enjoy family time. I look forward to all we will accomplish together this fall!
