Children’s Ministry Past and Future
St. Andrew’s Family,
As I think back to just a week and a half ago, we were in the middle of a Vacation Bible School that was full of energy, excitement and imagination. I wanted to take a moment and thank all of you that donated supplies, built sets, decorated and worked hard all week with the kids. It has truly warmed my heart to see our community come together for the spiritual growth of our children. I believe everyone involved would agree that God was working mightily all week long. Thank you again.
The fun isn’t over up here at the church. We are currently finishing up the first week of our Bible Builder’s Camp. It has been amazing seeing our little ones rushing around and creatively building Bible super structures (and spaceships, robots, race cars, etc.). Thank you to Jer Gregory and his team of youth for faithfully creating the space for each camper to experience God through LEGO bricks. We are excited for week two. We still have two spots open!
As we continue to build on the work done through the children’s ministry this summer, we are excited to bring a dynamic person on as Children’s Minister. This is a great opportunity to minister with an amazing community and a crazy good ministry team (if I do say so myself)! If you are interested, or know of someone that would fit this role, please have them check out the job posting by visiting this link. We are already praying for this person and the amazing work God is going to do through them.
Peace and Grace,
Deacon Logan
