A Letter from Camp

Dear Friends,

It has been exciting up here at Vacation Bible School this week. Our building has been full of campers learning Bible stories about Jacob, Ruth, Naomi, and Jesus. Camp Firelight has brought a lot of joy and laughter.

There are also these two characters, Counselor Sam and Lu the Lightning Bug, that some say look a lot like Tim and me.

Yesterday our “Camp Firelight Call Out” for the day at VBS was, “God will lead the way,” and our volunteers (ranging in age from 12-84) have definitely lived into that this week! They are the true reason VBS has been a blast.

At the 9:00 am service on Sunday we will have our Campers sing some of the music from VBS during the service, so even if you haven’t been able to be a part of the fun this week, you can still get a taste of it on Sunday.
