Mother Paulette retired as Vicar of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Copperas Cove, Texas in 2017, where she served for seven years in a predominately military community.

After retirement, she did supply work in small churches scattered across the Diocese of Texas and served as Associate Priest at Grace Episcopal in Georgetown, Texas. For the two years prior to coming to McKinney, she also served as Fieldwork Supervisor for senior priest students at The Iona School for Ministry. She and her husband Larry, a retired physician, lived in Georgetown for 25 years before moving to McKinney in May 2020.

Mother Paulette graduated and was ordained out of the Iona School for Ministry in the Diocese of Texas. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Writing and Literature from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. She and Larry spent their career years working for the U.S. Foreign Service in Tanzania, Germany, Washington, D.C., and Russia. They have five children, ten grandchildren, and a great-grandson, Cole, who lives in McKinney.
