We’re Starting a Resale Store
Dear Friends,
Hopefully you saw (and had a chance to read) our announcement Wednesday about the resale store we are planning to start. The idea has been worked on for well-over a year, and months and months of regular meetings full of planning and discussion have gone into getting us to this point. I am so thankful to Lisa Ostrowski, our Hands&Feet Outreach Director, and the team of volunteer leaders she has assembled. They have each brought expertise, experience, and faithfulness to this task.
Announcing a resale store is, of course, still a long way from opening one, and there is more work to do. You too, will have plenty of chances to help!
One of the things that excites me about this project is that it addresses so many different sorts of needs in our community — it meets the need to give, the need buy affordably, and the need to steward our resources and environment. We also plan that, in time, the proceeds from the resale store will help us meet all sorts of other needs in our community by helping fund our Hands&Feet ministry.
Donation collection begins next week (details are below). If you’re spring cleaning closets, bring those old clothes our way! There’s nothing else like this in our corner of McKinney, and I’m excited to take the material goods we no longer want or need and transmute them into treasure in heaven.

St. Andrew’s is launching a Resale Store, which will allows us to meet the needs of our community in new ways. Our next collection dates are Feb 5 & 7 (Mon & Wed).
👚 Seeking gently used clothes in sizes 2T to adult
