Treasures in Heaven from our Hands&Feet Ministry
Dear Friends,
As we continue to add treasures to our box I would first like to say "Thank You" for your generous and consistent support of our Hands and Feet ministry and to also share how we have been able to support our core community partners...
Samaritan Inn - We not only sponsor lunch the last Saturday of each month we have a great group of volunteers that help serve and assist the kitchen with prep for the week. We have served 7 lunches this year so far with over 50 volunteers. We also helped with their spring yard clean up and gifted 4 mothers-to-be with all the necessities, and a few gifts for them and their new baby.
Baby Booties Diaper Bank - Our congregation, with the Congregation at Hidden Springs, has donated over 3,000 diapers, 500 packages of wipes, 300 beach towel & sunscreen sets and over 275 hats and gloves to help our community families!
McKinney Little Free Pantry - Can you say "repackaging?" our volunteers have repackaged over 650lbs of bulk rice, over 700 lbs. of dog food, famine products and diapers so that they are able to distribute to the LFPs throughout McKinney.
Your support helps and encourages so many...
Burks Elementary School - St. Andrew's supports teachers with school supplies, lunches, snacks and a microwave for their lunch room. Helps parents and students with blankets, medication, shoes, clothes and food. Supports holidays with Thanksgiving baskets and the Angel Tree for Christmas.
McKinney ISD - Valentine gift baskets went out to all of the McKinney elementary schools to show the teachers some appreciation for such a challenging school year.
McKinney Fire Dept - Gratitude baskets went out to all 10 fire stations in McKinney this spring and We'll do it again during our service day Saturday!
Community Life Line Center/Feeding Friends and Families/North Texas Food Bank - We not only help stock the pantry of CLC each month but we now host a food distribution in our parking lot the third Wednesday of each month!
Meals on Wheels - 15 spring boxes and 10 fall boxes were have been donated for the elderly in our community!
And the list goes on....
