Spring into Actions with Hands&Feet

Spring is in full bloom at St Andrew’s, and there are so many ways to get involved with our Hands&Feet ministry. Some highlights are:

  • the Carter Blood Drive on April 23 from 9 am to 1 pm

  • McKinney Unity: Day in the Park on April 29 from 11 am to 1 pm

  • our next C.L.I.M.B. event on May 11 from 3 pm to 5 pm

just to name a few!

In addition, in May we’ll host a food drive for Community Lifeline Center. Now that SNAP additional benefits has ended, they have experienced a big increase in need from our community. CLC served 500 families last month during their food distribution at the MISD Stadium, and St. Andrew’s saw an increase as well during our March distribution. Please give what you can. Here is a short list of some of the most needed items:

  • Cereal, 15 oz. to 24 oz. boxes

  • Spaghetti Sauce, 24 oz. cans

  • Pears, Peaches, Mixed Fruit, and Applesauce, 15 oz. cans

  • Ravioli, 15 oz. cans

  • Macaroni & Cheese, 7.5 oz. boxes

  • Cornbread Mix, 6 oz. packages

  • Peanut Butter, 15 or 16 oz. jars

  • Rice, 1 lb. bags

  • Beans, 1 lb. bags of dry black or pinto

  • Chili, 15-ounce cans without beans

  • Hormel Compleats meals

As always, THANK YOU for all each of you do to support our Hands&Feet ministry! We are successful and effective because of YOU.

Happy Spring!
Lisa
