Multiply Campaign
We did it!
In September 2021, we announced that an anonymous donor had stepped forward to match all Multiply Campaign gifts through the end of the year.
At the time, we needed about $33k in contributions in order to, coupled with the matching gift, meet the goal to fulfill our total pledge of $929,484. Through your generosity, and the generous matching gift, we exceeded that goal. Thank you, and thanks be to God!
What This Means
As we plan our ministries and prepare our budget for 2022 and beyond, we have a double blessing:
No capital campaign to which our parish is also giving.
No debt service from the building expansion to work into our budget.
We are excited about the opportunities to build Treasure in Heaven through the mission, service, worship, and pastoral care that this opens up to us.
A Note for Clarity
The matching gift extends to $45,000, and gifts over and beyond the total needed to pay off our debt will be reserved to the church's building fund, approved for use by the vestry only to cover direct building or grounds expenses. So, if you are still planning to pay off the balance of your Multiply Pledge before the campaign ends, we will still gratefully accept it and use it appropriately.
All Multiply gifts are eligible.
If you’re still giving towards your original pledge, your gifts will automatically be matched for the remaining months.
If you are able to give beyond your original pledge, your gift will be matched.
If you never had a Multiply Pledge or joined after the campaign, your gifts will be matched.
How to Give
Giving is easy:
Give online using your bank's bill pay feature, and they'll send a check to St. Andrew's.
Give by check or cash at the church during office hours or on Sunday morning. Make sure Multiply is written in the memo line of the check, or if cash, please place in a giving envelope and specify "Multiply" on the envelope.
About the Multiply Campaign
In the summer of 2018, we began the Multiply Campaign, a three-year capital campaign that raised funds to expand our building, refit existing spaces for outreach, education, and music, and add a playground. Additionally, our goal was also to end the capital campaign completely debt. Each and every week, this work of building out our physical space has helped us multiply God's name in our hearts and in our community, and it will continue to do so in the months and years to come.
In 2021, the Multiply Campaign did indeed end without any residual debt. Getting to this point has been a shared work for the glory of God. Our Vestry at the time had the vision and courage to step out in faith, our Multiply Campaign committee helped communicate the vision and raise the money, our Building Committee worked tirelessly to accomplish the build and move, and, most critically, all of you, 166 families and individuals, gave to our Multiply Campaign. Thank you for your generosity, and thanks be to God!

A Prayer for the Multiply Campaign
Almighty God, generous Father, who can multiply our gifts beyond what we can imagine: Bless us as we seek to multiply your name in our hearts and in our community, that we may have the bracing courage and wide generosity to give of our blessings so that you may nourish your people, redeemed by the love and sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
