Our Speaker: Andi Thacker is an assistant professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Thacker maintains a small private practice where she works with kids, teens and families. Dr. Thacker completed her training with a master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of North Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Approved Supervisor in Texas. She has been married to Chad since 2003 and they have three children, Emerson, Will, and Webb.

Retreat Theme: We are grateful to have Dr. Andi Thacker speak about how our relationship with God is shaped by our experience of early childhood relationships. Knowing things about God is different than knowing God, being known by Him, and experiencing His unending love for us. At this retreat, we will pursue being known and experiencing God’s love for us more fully through an awareness of how our early childhood relationships with parents and caregivers impacted our attachment style.
